COURSE OBJECTIVE/GOALS:
Auto service technology is designed to teach students basic and advanced mechanical and computerized skills for employment in the automotive and trucking industry. Upon completion, students will be able to enter the job market as entry-level service technicians or parts specialists.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Auto service technology is a two to three year completer program and is also available to take in the third year as a co-op course. First year students spend approximately 70% of time in class and 30% in lab. Second and third year students spend approximately 30 of time in class and 70% in lab.
